Ledge View Nature Center Building Remodel Press Release:
Ledge View Nature Center will be closed beginning November 2nd through the end of 2025 for a building remodel. Updates include remodeling the office space and kitchen, expansion and remodeling of the classrooms, addition of a family bathroom, and updating the siding, windows, and roof. The park and grounds will remain open from dawn to dusk daily. The cross-country ski trails will continue to be groomed and open during periods of adequate snow, although snowshoe and ski rental will not be available.
As you enjoy the park and trails, please give our construction crews space to safely work. We appreciate the public’s support and patience during this time.
The Park Staff will hold Programs and Workshops at Calumet County Park while the Nature Center is closed. Please check the calendar section of this website for upcoming programs and workshops.
